Who is Husky?
Husky is a British company, family owned and operated, and about to celebrate 70 years in operation, being founded in 1957.
Starting as a service agent for commercial fridges, they developed into a full-service operation that could not only repair but replace when needed. And they wanted replacement product that was efficient, high quality and serviceable.
The response was positive to the service they provided, but one component was out of their control; the quality of the replacement product.
So they Invested
They built their own 10,000 square-metre manufacturing facility to build the range, engineering the units themselves, with in house testing labs, and rigorous quality control measures in place.
In addition, they have an R&D Lab in Neiuw-Vennep, Netherlands that is at the forefront of transforming refrigeration into intelligent systems for the home of today.

Environmental Impact
At Husky, we care about our environmental footprint and aim to create stylish and reliable refrigeration, with as little environmental impact as possible. We've improved our energy efficiency by:
- The use of cyclopentane insulation
- Optimal thickness of cabinet walls
- Low emissivity glass which reduces heat transfer
- LED lighting
- Natural hydrocarbon gases – better for the environment and allows for smaller more efficient compressors to be used
- Packaging made from renewable resources and recyclable where possible.
